Supervised Family Visits

The Ark provides supervised family visits for 1) children in foster care; 2) court-mandated family visits due to custody disputes, domestic violence, contentious divorce, or other unsafe environments.

In these visits, a therapist joins the family, modeling respectful parent interaction with children, teaching parents how to discipline effectively, and providing ideas on how to prepare food and eat together, clean up together, play together, and modeling communication skills. These services may be provided to families recovering from children being removed from the home, providing non-custodial parents every opportunity possible to be reunited with their children.
